  • Reorder with drag and drop, or with the keyboard using the move buttons.
  • Pages are copied as they are: their content, size and rotation don't change, and nothing is re-compressed.
  • The merged file is named after the first file, for example report-merged.pdf.

Supported files and limits

  • Each file can be up to 200 MB, and all files together up to 500 MB.
  • Password-protected PDFs can't be opened here; unlock them first with Unlock PDF.
  • Bookmarks and interactive form fields from the source files aren't carried into the merged file.

How your files are handled

Merge PDF runs in your browser: your file is read and processed on your device and the result is created there, so documents aren't uploaded to a server. The site only counts anonymous page views, without cookies. How it works · Privacy

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded when I merge them?

No. The files are read and combined by your browser, and the merged PDF is created on your device.

Will merging reduce the quality of my pages?

No. Pages are copied without re-rendering or re-compressing, so text stays text and images keep their quality.

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

Up to 50 files, each up to 200 MB and 500 MB in total.
